This year’s Salon du Végétal took place from February 16 to 18 in Angers, France.
This horticultural exhibition brings together in 3 days over around 500 exhibitors, spread over 30,000m2 of floor space, with around 14,000 professional visitors.
The theme in 2016 was ‘gardens in towns’ – this was excellently shown by a lot of exhibitors presenting ornamental plants, vegetables and herbs on balconies or at walls in urban surroundings and on smaller surfaces.
Our French distribution partner Challet-Hérault had a nice and modern booth and presented a lot of Selecta products in top quality! Special highlight on the stand was the Petunia variety NightSky®, which has proven to be a real winner again.
After winning the ‘FleuroStar’ award at last year’s FlowerTrials® and the price for ‘Best Bedding or Pot Plant’ at the Four Oaks show 2015 in the UK, Petunia NightSky® now has been picking up the ‘Gold Innovert Award’ at Salon du Végétal in Angers, France.
NightSky® has been submitted to the competition by Challet-Hérault and convinced the jury with its new extraordinary flowers.
