The breeder of ornamental plants, Selecta one, presented its Autumn Friends at the garden trade fair spoga+gafa in the beginning of September – ideal plants for late summer and autumn with endless many possibilities and advantages for all levels of trade.
The Autumn Friends concept follows the trend of gardening in late summer and autumn and offers endless many possibilities for beautiful combinations with Selecta’s diverse range of perennials, grasses and pot carnations. The components are for example colourful Heuchera, insect-friendly Echinacea, nice pot carnations, grasses in different heights and autumnally green plants and ground cover.
Growers have the choice: Selecta one recommends combinations for different price segments, but own combinations of varieties are also possible. One method is the cultivation of combined young plants from the date of potting on, whereby homogeneous roots are formed. A production of single pots is possible, too. Both options show impressive results and bring retail and the end consumer freedom of choice between readily mixed pots and single plants for planting together by oneself. All demands can be fulfilled – both, convenience loving customers, as well as hobby gardeners come to their expense. The concept brings advantages for everyone: attractive, colourful and compact products with high durability – this is of benefit to growers, retail as well as end consumers.
